On August 17, while the rescue vessel Bourbon Argos, property of the NGO Medecins Sans Frontieres, was pattroling the Mediterranean Sea, when an udentified speedboad fired at the vessel, hitting the window of the bridge. While the unknown people were firing, the MSF tam retreated to the ship’s safe room. After the shots ended, the suspects boarded the vessel and stay there approximately 50 minutes. However, due to the fact they were not able to reach the crew, they left without taking anything and without making any claim.
The Bourgon Argos received at least 13 bullet shots, mot of them hit different parts of the bridge.
