Proemaid

We are a Spanish group of emergency professionals who voluntarily helps since December 2015 in the South-est of Lesbos and since September 2017 we have also begun to help in the Central Mediterranean. We aid and rescue people in distress at the sea.

Our teams consist of firefighters, divers, lifeguards, and health professionals who rotate every fifteen days. Every time a new member joins the project he or she attends theoretical and practical training sessions focused on how we carry out the rescues.
